What is psychotherapy or counseling and why do I need it?
Psychotherapy is a process of exploring your concerns, problems with a trained professional who will help you clarify and resolve those worries that are hindering your well-being. The psychotherapist will help you clarify the problem and give the tools necessary to make the choices/resolutions which are best for you. Psychotherapy enables you to see “the light at the end of the tunnel”.
When the problems, concerns, worries are affecting your daily functioning, such as, when you are unable to concentrate, feel afraid, feel sad, fight with others for no reason, unable to function sexually, this is when psychotherapy is beneficial
