Claudia Olave-Guillermo was born in Colombia, and she immigrated with her siblings at the age of 15 to the United States. After her father passed away and her mother was left with three children to raise, her mother made the difficult decision of immigrating to the United States to give them a better life. A decision that so many immigrant families make.

Mrs. Olave-Guillermo knows firsthand the importance of having legal status in the United States to reach any goals the person may have without any fears.

Claudia Olave-Guillermo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York, License # R071579-1, in the State of Florida, License # SW 19619 and in South Carolina, License # 14608, State of Georgia, License # CSW008026 and State of Pennsylvania, License # CW022983. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work in 1999. She also earned a Master’s degree in Psychology from the City University of New York in 1994. She has been in private practice for the past 24 years. She has been working in the mental health field for 27 years.
